The UK Pirate Brotherhood Forum is a discussion group for all things piratical & maritime. This is the heart of the brotherhood, where participants can hold discussions, and ask questions covering a variety of topics. It contains rooms for a number of different subjects, including authenticity & history, weapons & combat, and forthcoming events. To visit the forum,
This will be the place for updates about new contents to the web site, and for any news that may be of interest to the pirate enthusiast. To visit the News page,

The map, is a way to show the locations of active groups within the United Kingdom, so that anybody wishing to join a society, or book the services of a group, can see who is around in their area If you would like your organization to be added to the map,
One of the aims of the UK Pirate Brotherhood, is to create a directory of groups and societies around the country, not only of Re-enactment societies, but of other groups, involved, not just in presentations of pyracy, but also in history, and maritime life during the age of sail. This will enable different groups to contact each other, as well as providing a resource for individuals seeking to find an organization either to join them, or to book their services. There are currently eight possible categories for the directory.
But if your organization does not fit into any of the above categories, please contact us and we shall create a category for your group. The Directory is not just a list of organization names. Each contributor has the opportunity to send in information about, and pictures of their group that will be used to create a Mini Web page for that group with full contact details, (including a link to their own web page,) and its own meta tags to attract hits from internet search engines. Contributors will also be added to the Map, and Links section of this site.

The internet contains a vast number of sites containing information and resources for the pirate enthusiast, from historical pages, to suppliers of historical costume and equipment, to links to other historical societies. The main function of the calendar is to provide a list of events for the benefit of people who would like to attend this type of show. but it will also create an opportunity for event organizers to publicize their display. and for society organizers to attract other groups to take part in their spectacles. Please CLICK HERE to provide information about a fourth coming event.

As material is received, and as I find the time to modify this web site, the new features will be added. It is up to everybody involved in this community to contribute the material that will eventually make up the pages on this site.
