If you would like details of your group or society to be added to the directory, you will need to send in the following information so that we can create a Minniweb page for your organization, and put it on the map.

  1. TITLE - The name of your group or organization, it will form the entry in the directory list, and the heading for your miniweb page.
  2. LOCATION - This will be used to locate your group on the map, if you hold a regular meeting, state the town where this happens, this will enable anybody looking for an organization in your area to find you. If you are a national organization, please put "National" for your location, a side panel will be created on the map for any national organizations.
  3. CATEGORY - Please list which of the following categories you would like to be listed as in the directory. Since this is the UK PIRATE Brotherhood, if you are a re-enactment group who represent pirates, even as a minor part of your repertoire, please select category "1. Pirate re-enactment societies," as your category.
    If you select "7.Other," please give details, if it is considered appropriate, a new category will be created.
    1. Pirate reenactment societies.
    2. Other Maritime re-enactment societies.
    3. Other 17th & 18th Century re-enactment societies.
    4. Social & Fundraising Groups.
    5. Non UK Groups.
    6. Bands & Entertainers.
    7. Live Action Role play groups.
    8. Other.
    Non UK Groups will be listed in a separate panel on the map page.
  4. TEXT - This is the main body of your minniweb page, Describe your organization and its activities, time and location of any meetings that you hold and any other information that you consider relevant. If you have selected category 1. "Pirate re-enactment societies," But also enact other historical eras, by all means mention your other activities, but keep the bulk of your text about your Pirate activities.
    Please keep your text to under 500 words.
    If you wish, you can send your text as pat of the body of your email, but if you prefer, you can send a .doc file as an email attachment.
  5. PICTURES - You can if you wish, send up to three images or photographs to be included in your minniweb page. in addition to this you can send two more, optional images.
    a) A header. You can, if you wish, send in a title picture or logo that will appear at the top of your page
    b) Background. You may also send in a background tile image that will be used as a wallpaper for your page.
  6. CONTACT DETAILS - Please send in at least one of the following so that any interested party will be able to get in touch with you.
    a) CONTACT NAME.
    b) TELEPHONE NUMBER.
    c) CONTACT ADDRESS.
    d) E-MAIL ADDRESS.
    e) WEBSITE ADDRESS.
    Obviously, the more information you post, the simpler it will be for you to be contacted. If you include your web address, it will automatically be added to the links section
  7. KEYWORDS - Your minniweb page will open outside of the UK Pirate Brotherhood web site frameset, and will behave as a web site in its own right. So that it can be picked up by search engines, you can include a list of keywords that will be inserted in this page as meta tags.
